This report details the insights collected by the NHS South West London engagement team as part of the outreach with people living in temporary accommodation or experiencing homelessness in Merton. This work aimed to understand experiences of local health and care services.

The findings from this report offer valuable insights for future cross-sector partnerships that seek to address health inequalities and improve population wellbeing, as well as the funders and organisations supporting them.

Health disparities based on ethnicity have been long documented in the UK. One important factor lies in ethnicity-based differences in the quality of interactions with healthcare professionals in primary care, and the effects this has on patient trust and engagement.
