We want to involve as many local people in our work as we can.
It’s very important that we learn more about what you think, and hear from different communities – especially people experiencing health inequalities – to ensure everyone gets the best quality care.
Patient participation groups
Generally made up of a group of volunteer patients, the practice manager and one or more of the GPs from the practice, patient participation groups meet on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer, and how improvements can be made for the benefit of patients, the practice, and the wider practices within their primary care network.
If you are interested in joining your patient participation group within your GP surgery, please contact the Practice Manager.
Sutton Health Champions
Health Champions support residents by sharing health information using things like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp groups, text messages, newsletters or emails.
They also gather feedback from service users on particular health topics.
These volunteers and organisations supporting local people meet online on the first Tuesday of every month, from 5pm-6pm.
Health related engagement groups
From time to time, we need to hear from people experiencing a particular health issue.
If you’d like to send us feedback on local services, ask a question or become a Sutton Health Champion, please email Nadine Wyatt, Senior Engagement Manager, or complete our form below.
