The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way we all access and use NHS services, from telephone consultations to booking appointments online.
It can be daunting to know how to use new digital systems, which is why Volunteer Centre Sutton are running weekly sessions to help you feel more confident accessing and booking online NHS services.
What will the training cover?
Fully trained Digital Health Volunteers will show you how to download, install and operate the NHS App so you can get the most from it. For example, they will show you how you can view your health records or order prescriptions.
Where and when are they running sessions?
Volunteers are available Mondays and Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm at the Sutton Central Library. You can find them near the Family Hub area, close to the entrance of the library – look out for their pop-up banner.
There is no need to book. Just turn up and one of their friendly team of volunteers will be happy to help.
What will you need to use the NHS App?
Please bring along a smartphone if you have one, your email address and your NHS number.
How can I find out more?
