This was a free workshop for all health and care staff in South West London
Many women going through menopause can be quite apprehensive about medication. Fortunately medication is not the only way to alleviate the symptoms of menopause, this can also be done through nutrition and physical activity.
Menopause can also have a huge effect on appetite, metabolism and weight (gain and loss). This workshop will assist you in managing your weight and metabolism through nutrition to achieve/maintain a healthy weight.
This face to face workshop was delivered by Maggie Ford, Health and Wellbeing Advisor at St George’s University Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust and an Associate Registered Nutritionist. Maggie develops and delivers health promotion programmes for staff on a wide range of health topics like menopause, mental health and weight management.
The workshop took place at the Antoinette Hotel on Tuesday 21 June 2022.
