Piers is the Convenor of the Richmond Place Committee and Chairs Richmond’s Health & Wellbeing Board; an elected councillor for West Twickenham ward, he is also Lead Member for Adult Social Care & Health on Richmond Council. With a professional background in medical publishing, Piers will use his collaborative leadership skills and experience to ensure residents of Richmond upon Thames reap the benefits of ever closer working between health and care and the NHS and voluntary and community sector partnership that supports residents. Serving on the Council of Governors for Kingston Hospital, Piers has recently become a Trustee of The Mulberry Centre, which provides cancer support services from its West Middlesex Hospital base.
