Brenda has over 30 years experience in local government including senior roles in commissioning, operational delivery and partnerships. She has worked as a director of adult social care in several London boroughs and whilst at Croydon laid the groundwork for the development of the One Croydon Alliance.
She now works as a freelance consultant supporting partners in health, local government and the voluntary and community sectors to think differently about how new service models, designed with and for local people, can improve both personal independence and wellbeing.
Brenda continues to be active in the voluntary sector. She is currently chair of two organisations, including Age UK Croydon.
