Asad has 18 years’ experience within local government finance having worked at a number of authorities in the North West and south east.
He is currently executive director for finance and digital at the London Borough of Merton as well as chief finance officer (or Section 151 officer).
Asad is a CIPFA qualified accountant and represents local authorities in south west London as a board member of the Integrated Care Partnership.
