14 Healthwatch Richmond staff members and volunteers visited the Emergency Department at West Middlesex University Hospital between the 6th and the 15th of November 2024. They spoke to 111 patients and carers, and 30 staff members. They wanted to find out:
- What it was like to be a patient in the ED and UTC departments.
- What were the impacts of the change in UTC provider.
- What areas, if any, required improvement or re-evaluation.
They want to thank all of the staff members at West Middlesex University Hospital for their support and openness during visits and for their continued positive engagement with their recommendations.
