South London Listens were involved in two workshops held as part of the Government’s consultation on the 10-year Health Plan for England. The workshops were delivered by Citizens UK who facilitated discussion between over 40 active community leaders and strategic decision-makers from the South London Listens partnership. When discussing what the NHS should look like in the future, accessibility, trust and connection were some of the main themes arising. There was support for free access to NHS resources and the workforce. They highlighted a lack of trust and unequal health outcomes, with more focus needed on prevention and issues navigating and accessing services.
