Overall, Healthwatch Kingston’s Authorised Representatives concluded that Ashton Meadows seemed to be a well-run home with caring staff. They identified a high ratio of staff to residents, and a high number of activity workers. Staff demonstrated a good knowledge of the residents’ needs and a friendly, engaged and caring attitude towards them. They observed the residents in the lounges occupied and engaged throughout their visits, and they observed the staff working well as a team.
