The Get Help with your Health event is free, including a delicious vegan Balti curry. Just come along to the Lantern Centre, Raynes Park between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 21 January.
Visitors to the event can find out about the wealth of community activities taking place in the borough from Age UK Merton, Wimbledon Guild, One You Merton, Fulham Football Club and more.
Learn about sources of advice if you’re struggling, whether because of loneliness, cost of living worries or health issues. If you’re concerned about your memory or that of a loved one, chat to Alzheimer’s Society about local support. And you can find out about help around young people’s mental health from charities including stem4 and Off the Record.

In addition, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and cancer screening checks will be on offer and the NHS vaccinations team will be on hand for anyone eligible who has missed a flu or Covid-19 jab.
Project manager, Mark Connor, said: “Merton has such a thriving community scene with plenty of support, advice and activities out there – so we wanted organise a social event where people can find out more.
